My name is David Hough, and I am your Sales representative with Central Van Lines. I am a lifelong resident of Pennsylvania, I currently reside in Perryopolis with my wife, two children, rescue cat Claire, and Chihuahua Ramon. I am passionate about my community and its people and businesses.

With over 26 years in the moving industry, I have made a career in finding solutions and putting the concerns of my customers first.

I started in the moving industry as a helper/mover, I quickly “moved” up to a driver and crew Forman. In 2000 I started my career in customer service/sales.

Having been involved in thousands of moves and unique situations, there is not a set of circumstances that we cannot handle. Whether you are moving your home or business across town, across the country, or across the globe, I look forward to helping you with your individual relocation needs.

My Name is Todd Runner and I am your sales Representative with Central Van Lines/Allied. I am a lifelong resident of WV and I am passionate about my community and the people in it. My goal is to build a customer for life. I attended WVU and graduated from Marshall with a BA in Business Administration.

With 15 years in the moving business and with Central Van Lines, I have made a career of finding solutions and putting the needs of my customers first.

With over 7000 in-home estimates performed, I have the experience to ensure that your move goes smoothly. I have been ranked 20th With Allied Van Lines for follow-up and customer care/bookings. In addition, I am CMC Certified, (certified move consultant) with the American Moving & Storage Association.

I am a member of the KVBR for over 10 years and recognized in 2014 as a outstanding Affiliate member. I also am a member of the local BNI group and have won multiple networking awards.

My name is Leah Jones. I was born, raised and still live in Washington, PA. I come from a large, hardworking, and outgoing family and the moving industry has always been a part of it. My father was a long-distance driver and mover for my entire life. He taught me how to be dedicated, honest and to always give my all. I have been with Central Van Lines for 13 years. I started as a receptionist and appointment scheduler. Within a year I started training with the GM to possibly become a salesperson. I learned the ins and outs of the services we provide, estimating and customer service. I learned that I enjoyed the customer service side more than sales and transitioned into a move coordinator. I was quickly coordinating for multiple salespeople, OA/DA’s, international and military shipments and still wanted to learn and grow within the company. I started learning and training with the accounting department and soon came to love working on the rating and auditing side of each move. I now handle all revenue accounting for our Allied and North American shipments. In the last 2 years I have added long haul dispatcher to my list of job titles. I work closely with our tractor trailer and straight truck drivers to keep them running coast to coast all year. I work hard to plan and trip shipments to give our drivers full trips out and back. I try to keep them moving in a way that makes financial and logical sense, while taking care of our customers’ moving needs. I am a patient and helpful person, and I love a challenge. I am happy to, and always do, assist in any department from sales and coordinating to drivers, warehouse and labor. Working with Central Van Lines/Allied Van Lines has given me so many opportunities to learn and grow with a company I am proud to represent.

My name is Carol Torboli and I am a Move Coordinator for Central Van Lines, Pittsburgh. I come from a large, hardworking family and am a lifelong resident of Avella, PA. After working in the Veterinary field for 32 years, I changed direction and have now been working in the moving industry for over 11 years, 5 of those years with Central Van Lines/Allied. I started work here as the Local PA coordinator, and now do OA/DAs for International & Military shipments, as well as Local PA & Interstate moves. I enjoy working with the knowledgeable staff & sales team here at Central. I also enjoy the interaction with our customers throughout the move process and helping to make their moves as stress-free as possible.

My name is Thom Merkle. I am your Relocation Specialist with Central Van Lines for the Southwestern WV and the Mid-Ohio Valley region. Although I was born in Northern Minnesota, I have lived in West Virginia for 17 years. Most of that time was spent in the New River Gorge where I was Whitewater Raft Guide and worked on Ski Patrol at Winterplace and Snowshoe Ski Resorts. I have 3 years of experience in the moving industry and have been a part of the Central Van Lines family since the spring of 2024. My work life has been focused on customer service since I was a teenager and my passion for positive communication with people continues with what I do today. I am here to help you understand the moving industry, how Central Van Lines can be a part of that process and how to get your belongings safely from where you are currently to where you are going for the future.
